Name: Ingrid “Zesty” Taylor
Principal Taylor Shaw, Barristers and Solicitors
What is your cooking experience? I have a love of food and entertaining so that has seen me cooking many a dinner party for friends and family. Cooking for me is a way of bringing people together and showing them you care.
What would your cooking signature dish be? Fillet of beef, scalloped potatoes, with roasted tomatoes in balsamic vinegar and broccolini with almonds….go to dish!
Why are you cooking to help disadvantaged Canterbury kids get a fair start in education? I am passionate about education. For me, I believe it is the gateway out of poverty. I have for the last 10 years been involved in “empowering girls to live and lead”. These kids however have shoes and uniforms to go to school in and healthy lunches to fuel their brains. My involvement in this project hopes that every child in Canterbury has the necessities to enable them to get the best education possible. These kids are our future NZ!
