Bethells Mums in support of the West Auckland Hospice
More than a physical challenge, raising funds for West Auckland Hospice.

We are a group of Bethells women, each of us a different level of fitness, who decided to take up the challenge to run or walk the Westcoasters, a race taking place in Bethells Beach on December 10th.
All of us are strongly attached to community and we wish this challenge to be more than a physical one, we want to do more for the community we cherish.
We decided to raise money for a cause close to our heart, the West Auckland Hospice. They are doing an amazing job bringing comfort and dignity at the end of life and we would like to do our bit to support them.
We have been training for months now and, with 5 weeks to go, we are pushing ourselves for our health and wellbeing but also for the West Auckland Hospice.

Dear All,
A massive thank you for your generous donation and support while we trained and run the Westcoaster in Bethells. It was a big challenge for all of us with steep hills and a very (very!) muddy trail. It was hard but we all made it and are very proud of our achievement.
Even better is that we are now all considering doing more races as we all enjoyed the challenge and seeing the benefits of running on our physical and mental health.
Again, thank you all for believing in us and supporting the West Auckland Hospice.
