Biking Aotearoa for Mental Health

  • Mission Accomplished!

After some 3000km I've finally met the journey's end in Bluff! A massive thank you is in order for all of you who've donated to the amazing charities I was raising funds for.

It's been a real challenge, and privilege, to get to see so much of Aotearoa from the two wheels of a bicycle - and it's been a real source of strength to have your backing in doing a silly thing for a good cause.

So thank you again, to all the friends, family, and perfect strangers for your many small acts of kindness along the way. Whether it was with donations, encouraging words, or just a good yarn on a rainy day, I appreciate it greatly. Ka kite!

Big update: I reached Wellington on Saturday night and have decided to double down, literally. I'll be continuing my bike tour all the way south to Bluff. I'm already a little over halfway down the country, and hope to be finished by the 10th of December. Looking forward to seeing even more of Aotearoa on two wheels!

Thank you all for the continued support! Today I passed the dead centre of the North Island on my way to the Timber Trail. There's been a few big days lately, and still more to come, but they're made a whole lot easier knowing I've got the backing of so many people, and for such a great cause.

Also shoutout Lifeline for the new shirt!
