Birds of Pray
Sponsor a clergybird and help Bishopdale College take flight!
Spanky's crack team of 16 racing pigeons are ready to "Go the Distance" for Bishopdale College in the esteemed "Birds of Pray" Pigeon Race.
Sponsor a pigeon by donating and commenting with the name of your chosen clergybird! Check below for availability.
Under the Mosaic Law pigeons were "the poor man's offering" for those who couldn't afford a lamb. But not these pigeons! Raised on a top secret bird seed mix, empowered by prayer, and trained with precision, these are the racehorses of the sky!
Each bird is named after a Nelson Anglican clergy person, and on the given day will be released to race from Christchurch to Nelson.
