Old guys, mostly over pension age, biking from Bluff to Cape Reinga in 6 weeks. Its the challenges, the shared pain, end of the day beer!

Cholmondeley Kids home is what a group of 25 old mates is supporting, while biking the length of NZ in the "Tour of the long white cloud" and hoping to finish in 6 weeks from end of October 2020 - 42 days biking ,2850 kms to travel,20,000 meters to climb.

This lovely place in Governors bay, Canterbury, has since 1925 provided a safe haven for 500 kids per year to take a break away from the stress of family and trauma . I knew about their work as a kid growing up in Shirley, Christchurch in the 1950s.
