Raising eating disorder awareness and fundraising for EDANZ.

Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric condition. This is why I am fundraising for the Eating Disorder Association of New Zealand. EDANZ provides community support to eating disorder patients, and advocates for improved access to evidence-based treatment for all affected New Zealanders. They help to provide resources and support for families and relatives caring for a loved one with an eating disorder. EDANZ relies only on grants and donations. They receive no government funding. Without organisations such as EDANZ, families and sufferers have nowhere to turn.
Every dollar raised is helping to improve patient outcomes, and I thank you for that.
