First Foundation and BTS Kiwi Army are in step to help more rangatahi reach their potential.
First Foundation and BTS Army have something to sing about!
First Foundation's mission to give talented young Kiwis a brighter future has caught the attention of the BTS Kiwi Army, and so they've decided to offer support this October. BTS Army is the fan group for phenomenal Korean band BTS. You could think of them as a funky force for good!
The band has always promoted inspirational messages and self-love to their listeners. Like all of us at First Foundation, BTS recognises that too many highly capable students are held back by their socio-economic status. Like us, BTS want to change this.
Globally, BTS has partnered with Unicef and countless other initiatives. In New Zealand, BTS Kiwi Army fans are working locally to make an impact right here in their hometowns. Support of First Foundation is a great way to do this. Our programmes make a huge difference to individuals, their whānau and communities – our scholars return three times the value of the hand up they receive.
Donations from BTS Kiwi Army will help us remove barriers for bright Kiwis from challenging backgrounds. First Foundation's programme is reliant on donations to offers three pillars of support.
· We help the financial burden of university study
· We create connections to help young people navigate the journey of study and employment
· We provide opportunities for work experience to help launch careers.
We think it's something worth singing about!
We hope you'll support this fantastic October initiative; we know it will put as much of a groove in your step as it has for us.
