Avalanche Dogs Backyard Ultra Fundraiser

On the 7th of November, I am taking part in the Arrowtown Backyard Ultra to fundraise for the Avalanche Search & Rescue Dogs (SARDA NZ).

A backyard ultra is a race format where competitors runn a 6.71km loop, on the hour every hour, until the last person is standing. You drop out once you cannot go any further - there is no set distance!

My goal is to see how far I can go, aiming to complete at least 10 laps (67.1km). The furtherest I have run so far is around 60kms.

Search & Rescue Dogs Avalanche (SARDA NZ) is a volunteer organisation whose highly trained dogs and handlers help search for people caught in avalanches and support mountain rescue operations across New Zealand.

Help me combine my love of snowboarding, the mountains, running & dogs! Put my pain to good use and help me raise some money for these amazing dogs & their handlers.

Every donation whether big or small, will help make a difference. Thanks for supporting me & SARDA NZ 🐾
