Cally's Fit to Fight Challenge 2021

My daughter was diagnosed with autism around 1 year old from a Plunket nurse. Its been a rough, overwhelming and definitely rewarding time! She is 5 years old now, as beautiful and intelligent as can be but she is also non verbal, barely eats a thing, has trouble sleeping and still will not use the toilet and finds it so hard to fit into the "norms" of society. As a parent it is so hard to access support of any sort. You find your refuge in other parents experiencing the same thing. With that being said, Over 8 weeks, I'll be taking part in Boxing Alley's 'Fit to Fight' challenge, training like a boxer and raising funds for my chosen charity Autism NZ, before putting everything to the test in a final body-sparring event. Any koha will be greatly appreciated and the money raised will go towards a brilliant charity, and possibly help other parents and people living with this different ability. Nga mihi kotou, Arohanui.
