A caring midwife wanting to raise money for specialist equipment for premature babies born in Wellington Hospital by walking The Camino Way.
Wellington
I am a midwife of 38yrs experience and working 12 hr shifts in the high risk delivery unit Wellington Hospital. The majority of my work is caring for pregnant women with problems in very early gestation, 23weeks to 27 weeks. I would like to raise enough money to buy a piece of equipment that is on the Paediatricians "Wish List" , as I care very much for these little babies and their parents.
Being a proud Granny myself this comes from the heart for me as I have experienced the tragic loss of a grandson.
I hope the 791 kms I walk raises enough money to help little mokos of the future.
Midwife wanting to raise funds for high risk unit. See so many cases where people are having a hard time. Want to support them.

Thankyou to ALL who have generously donated to Camino Walk for Neonatal Trust. The extreme preterm babies will all benefit from your generous spirit!
The little 25week gestation baby I helped arrive into the world just before my 700km walk across Spain went home just before christmas to the great delight of her Mum and Dad. She came to visit me this week and is thriving at home. Mum and Dad very proud and happy.
