Fundraising for 100 Wild Kaimanawa Horses. 100 Days. 100 Lives Saved.
Nationwide
Hi, my name is Cassia and I am 13 years old.
I am really passionate about saving the Kaimanawa.
Thank you to Kelly Wilson and Sarah Ritchie who have inspired me to start fundraising to help this project to Save Wild Kaimanawa Horses led by Kelly Wilson and the Kaimanawa Legacy Foundation.
***ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TO THE KAIMANAWA LEGACY FOUNDATION***
If I reach $1,000 I will be entered in the draw to win a free place at Kelly Wilson’s sold-out 21-Day Wild Kaimanawa Workshop in Taupō which would be a dream come true for me. However, my main goal is helping the cause and I am grateful for any donations.
100 Kaimanawa Horses Project is a bold, time-sensitive mission to rescue, gentle and rehome 100 Kaimanawa horses from the government muster.
The initiative is led by KLF founding board member Kelly Wilson, whose team is based in Taupō. Her property is fully equipped with the facilities, experience, and passion to give this horses a future -but they can't do it without our help.
$1,000 sponsors a horse to be stockpiled while waiting for training.
What your donation will support:
-Feed during stock-piling, $80 per week/per horse
-Travel and accomodation for volunteer trainers from New Zealand, Australia, USA, who have all been trained by Kelly Wilson
-Veterinary pool for ulcer treatment, gelding, injuries, or complications during stockpiling
-Repairs to yards, fencing, and infrastructure due to wear from 100 wild horses
