I've grown my hair for a year with the goal to raise $10 a day for that year so that I can donate the money to The Bowel Cancer Foundation.

I decided to grow my hair for 12 months in the hope to raise $10 a day for 365 days (a total of $3650).

My hair is a mess its out of control I've even grown out my beard the last couple of months to go with it but its time for it to go. I've been called the cast away, a caveman, homeless and even Jesus (that one i can understand because i'm pretty much a saint.)

Recently one of my friends was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and since then I've realised how many people it affects - so I'll be donating any money raised to the Bowel Cancer Foundation.

I understand that $3650 is a lot of money, so even if you can only donate a dollar, it all helps (ill even busk for it if i have to!). I'm sure theres enough great New Zealanders out there to help out by donating what they can to help other great New Zealanders fighting this disease that has no remorse.

For me to grow my hair for a year and shave it all off is a small price to pay for these amazing people battling this horrible disease and going through the impacts it has on not just their life but also to their families and loved ones.
