Getting older and turning forty is privilege that not everyone is afforded. This year I am turning forty years old and I'm celebrating life and aging with my favourite people. In leui of traditional birthday gifts I'd like to encourage you to donate to 'Voices of Hope'; to support an organisation that works to break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and mental illness in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
"At Voices of Hope we believe in the power of sharing your lived experience to create positive change. Our storytelling platform exists to bring better understanding of mental health challenges, promote help-seeking behaviours and useful resources, and ultimately spread hope."
