Help us raise money for Little Fighters, an incredible charity founded right here in Taranaki. Lets give these kids & their whānau some love
Nationwide
So I (Charlotte) thought it would be fun doing an extreme mud run....such a great idea at the time.
I couldn't understand why none of my friends wanted to join me. I finally talked my hubby into joining me and found some random cool people to join. The team has changed a few times due to injury etc but 11 days out and the Naki NumbNuts are
Charlotte & Kurt Ward and Kahl & Emma Osborne
But now it is so close the ice swims and the electric wires we have to run through are not sounding so much fun.... What better way to make this stupidity make some sense is to raise some money for a great cause.
The Little Fighters Charitable Trust offers support to families who have a child with a life threatening illness, or where a parent has a life threatening illness that affects the child or children, whether it be financial or non-monetary services, our aim to focus assistance where needed to each family.
Being a Mum, every single day I thank my lucky stars that my kids are healthy. Life is tough, just image how tough it would be when a kiddy or a Mummy or Daddy are sick. Little Fighters are there to give support, be it home help, financial help or organising special memories and treats. The world needs The Little Fighters, and The Little Fighters needs us.
Please dig deep and help us raise them lots of dosh.
AND please wish us luck on Nov 3rd at Hampton Downs, 20kms of grueling obstacles and challenges....we are going to need it
Dinnie Moeahu's ironman challenge to raise 80k for Little Fighters and the Ronald McDonald House at Starship Hospital has inspired me no end. I am doing nothing like an IronMan but still, The tough Mudder is going to challenge me to my limits I think!
