Child Rescue - Coast to Coast Mountain Run

I have 3 young children of my own and thinking of them being taken from my wife and I and being sent into sexual slavery in a different land makes me feel a lot of different things, but most of all it makes me realise that this is a reality for some children right now. Millions of children worldwide are taken against their will and sold into slavery and sexual exploitation. In fact there are more people in slavery today than at any other time in history.

Child Rescue is a global organisation that helps free these children from captivity and sexual exploitation and rehabilitate them.

I decided to enter the Coast to Coast Mountain Run as a personal challenge for myself and also to raise awareness for Child Rescue. This is a big challenge for me and as I have gone about my training in rain, hail and sunshine, I have noticed that it has inspired a lot of people around me and most importantly it has inspired my own children. My children now come for training runs with me on foot or on bike and it made me think how blessed I am to have them.

To know that there are parents out there that have had their children abducted and sold into sexual slavery is gut wrenching. Please help me raise awareness and funds to save these children by donating to this cause.
