Shaving my curls for support and awareness of children living with and affected by cancer
Auckland
A family that is very close to me are currently going through cancer treatment with their daughter. So to show my support for her, I have decided to rock the same haircut and hopefully raise some funds and awareness for two NZ charities:
Earlier this year I had the privilege of being involved with Camp Quality NZ, and was able to see the good work that is being done to improve the lives of kids who have been living with or affected by cancer and their families.
The Child Cancer Foundation helps to provide support to Kiwi kids with cancer and their families and caregivers as they go through treatment.
So, if you could be so kind as to give a little it would mean a whole lot to all involved :)
Raising funds and awareness for children and their families, that will help to best navigate and aid the challenges they are faced with, not only during but after their cancer treatment.
