The Beard is Gone for Gumboot Friday - Shaving to raise money for Kids Counselling

$1,435 of $5,000 goal
Given by 34 generous donors in 11 days

Sponsor me to shave for the first time in 25 years! All money goes to Gumboot Friday: raising money for Kids Counselling #gumbootupNZ

Nationwide

Friday April the 5th will be the first ever "Gumboot Friday," where "I am Hope'" led by New Zealander of the Year Mike King will be raising $2 million dollars to pay for kids to access counselling.

I am Hope is about making yourself vulnerable to reach out and connect with those that need help and support. For 25 years, my entire adult life, I have worn a beard. My children have never seen my chin.

So I am asking you to sponsor me to shave my beard off, and if I raise $5000 or more I also pledge to be clean shaven for at least three months. (For the first time in my adult life!)

All of the money received by the Key to Life Trust will go towards paying for counselling for young people. For more information on Gumboot Friday see: http://www.iamhope.org.nz/gumbootfriday

So I'm booked into the barbers at 10.30am, but Facebook is currently down! So if it isn't up before then, and I can't run a Facebook Live video via the Nutters Club Facebook page I will post video and photos as soon as Facebook is up and working again.

See: https://www.facebook.com/THENUTTERSCLUB/

Cheers,

Kyle.
