Connor's Page for the Annual Tolkien Marathon for the Elderly

$80 of $1,000 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in 7 days

We're running a marathon dressed as Lord of the Rings characters in Oxford (England, not North Canterbury) to raise funds for the elderly.

Nationwide

J.R.R. Tolkien was a profoundly faithful Catholic with a deep love of the Church, the Sacraments and Our Lady, for the Glory of God. I'm jumping in on the team working for his cause for canonisation and raising funds for the elderly, as Tolkien had a deep respect for life at all stages, particularly the elderly.

So, to raise money for the elderly through Age Concern NZ, we're going to run/hobble a marathon. In Oxford. In the winter. Dressed as Lord of the Rings characters.

Oh boy. Show some sugar for our elderly this Christmas; we stand on their shoulders after all!

Connor Eatwell's involvement (page creator)

Age concern do amazing work to promote the dignity and welfare of the elderly. This work is needed more than ever as we grow more disconnected in our communities and forget the dignity of people from every walk of life.
