    Walking for Kids@CARE... $500 raised. THANK YOU! Last Sunday I completed my first Half Marathon in Christchurch... I really enjoyed the experience and hope to do it again. It gave me great satisfaction to raise $500 for Kids@CARE. Thank you again for all your support.     Walking for kids@CARE fundraising is now up to $420 You are helping to make a positive difference in the lives of children... which in turn impacts families and ripples out through the community. As Mother Teresa says,""We cannot all do great things, but we can all do small things with great love."" My walking shoes and thermals are all packed ready to leave tomorrow for wintery Christchurch.     I have been thrilled with the response so far to Walking for Kids@CARE THANK YOU! $310 raised towards providing subsidised counselling. I was talking with a family last night whose daughter is needing urgent help. They are struggling financially because of other circumstances beyond their control. How grateful they were to find that their daughter could find the help she needed with our service. You are contributing to a fund which is making a big difference in people's lives. Thank you SO much for your contribution. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead, determined my arthritic toes will last the distance!!! I managed 18km in training on Sunday so it is all looking good for completing the half marathon challenge.
