$13,292 of $50,000 goal
Given by 170 generous donors in 4 weeks

COVID-19 crisis causes extra demand for food parcels and we are in urgent need of funds to supply food to those families in need.

Auckland

The South Auckland Christian Foodbank (SACFB) is a charitable trust formed in August 2008 with the aim of improving the quality of life for families in South Auckland and surrounding areas. We do this by assisting families with food, personal care items, providing and or facilitating budget advice and the provision of other needs as required. We provide the following services; food parcels, financial capability courses, budgeting advice, food save programme, community dinners and Christmas dinners.

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent job losses has caused a lot of hardship for families, and requests to the SACFB for food parcels have already increased 250%. We are in urgent need of funds to supply food to those families in desperate need.
