    We've got 4 days to go until the Kickbox For Kiwis Sparathon takes place at Drew Neal's Lighthouse Kickboxing School in Kidderminster, and the fundraising drive has kicked up a notch. Everyone at work has been very kind and have given very generously. I suspect that some of them are only too happy to pay for me to get beaten up, but I'll take that! It's all for a great cause! Thanks again to everyone who has donated already, and if any of you know of anyone else who you think might want to contribute, please share this page with them, or put them in touch with me or clare.

  • 10 days to go!

    This time in 10 days, we'll be on the final run-in to completing our 3 hour, 100 round Sparathon. The lungs will be burning, the arms and legs will be weary, and there's likely to be the odd bloody nose, swollen cheek, black eye....and that's just me! I know that recent events in Japan have overshadowed the Christchurch Earthquake, and my heart goes out to all those affected there, but it's important that we don't forget about how much the people of Christchurch have suffered and will continue to suffer. Anything you can donate will be passed directly to the NZ Red Cross. You are all welcome to attend and support/laugh at. Thank you everyone.

  • We are going to attempt to spar 100 rounds in 180 minutes!

    <p>After seeing just how good our kickboxers are at a sparring session yesterday Drew, I have decided to UP THE CHALLENGE for Kickbox for Kiwis... we are going to try and spar 100 rounds in 180 minutes! If that doesn't get people sponsoring your efforts I don't know what will! I have also set the target amount of money to be raised at 5000 pounds and anything that we raise over this amount will be donated to Japan after their own natural disaster this week.</p> <p>My heart and thoughts are with all those who have been affected in both Japan and New Zealand! xxx</p>
