Two teenagers attempting to cross NZ in a straight line for charity!

Wellington

In the winter school holidays, my friend Ollie and I came up with a bit of a mad idea to try and cross part of our country in a completely straight line. Inspired by British adventurer Tom Davies who had done a similar thing in his part of the world, we wanted to explore the possibility of a similar expedition here.

We're super excited to be working with the amazing people at Forest & Bird. They do so much conservation work in so many different areas, and we would love to support them to continue with this work. Some of their projects include Predator Free New Zealand, wetland restoration, campaigning for changes to the Kauri Dieback Programme and much, much more. That's why all proceeds from our adventure will go straight to Forest and Bird so they can continue making Aotearoa a better place. For more information on what this awesome charity is all about, you can have a look at their website here: https://www.forestandbird.org.nz/

We have spent many long days and late nights planning, scouting, training and talking to landowners to turn our crazy idea into a reality. We would really appreciate your support - every dollar raised helps!

We simply thought they do so much amazing conservation work, so picked them as our charity of choice.
