Join us on Sat 5th Nov for a fun cycle ride on the Hamilton river path. Helping to restore sight to the needlessly blind in the pacific.
Waikato
The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ works in the Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste where four out of five people who are blind don’t need to be; their condition is preventable or treatable. The foundation restores sight to the needlessly blind and trains local eye health specialists to provide eye care services in their own communities. Treatment can cost as little as $25!
On Sat 5th November we will be cycling along the Waikato River Path in Hamilton to raise funds for this awesome cause. This isn't a race, but a leisurely cruise...anyone who can ride a bike is welcome!
We will start at Hamilton Gardens, ride to Braithwaite Park, Pukete, and back. At Pukete we will stop for a 'pit-stop' rest and coffee/tea break. Afterwards we will have a BYO picnic at the gardens.

Cycle for Sight is a chance to help people in the Pacific who unfortunately cannot see at all, by supporting the great work of the Fred Hollows Foundation.
