Raising funds for a new Nelson Hospice facility
Nelson / Tasman
Matt and Tania own "Urban Oyster Bar & Eatery" in Nelson. Matt is most commonly known as one the top chefs in the country winning numerous awards for his past restaurants and now Urban but has hung up his whites and handed the reins to Riki Day who he has worked with for nearly ten years.
Matt is now hoping to make an impact for the Nelson community by taking part in the dancing spectacular that is "Dancing for a Cause" which aims to raise money for a new Nelson Hospice facility.
Matt is excited, as he loves a challenge, tho nervous about “Dancing for a Cause," as he has two left feet. Mind you, he did explain this to the organisers and his awesome dance partner Sally (who has the patience of an angel one hopes) and they still wanted to take him on for the challenge!
Matt's wife Tania is a volunteer for Hospice and as a family they have had first hand experience with the amazing service Hospice offers. The nurtured caring, compassion, love and support that they provide is second to none, hence why Matt is keen to don "high heel" mens dancing shoes to raise funds for the build of a new Nelson Tasman Hospice.
