My family and I are committed to helping to give all young women the opportunity to reach their full potential.

I am joining the YWCA Auckland Round the Bays team to raise money for programmes that help develop and support young women and women through different life transitions. From mentoring, self development, self protection, financial literacy and equal pay advocacy, YWCA Auckland is making a big difference to many communities nationwide.

At the end of each year I am reminded of what a difference the work of the Y has on many young lives as scholarships and leadership roles are acknowledged at school prize givings. These are girls who would otherwise fly under the radar and this reminds me very much of my youth. I want to give as many young women the opportunities that I did not have so that they can make a difference for future generations.
