Hi. I'm a 17 year old from New Zealand and we suspect that I have endometriosis. While going through this difficult time I have been told that "it's all in my head and it's just teenage girl issues." That is not the case! I and other women have missed out on so much because we're in constant pain. Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women which means around 10% of the women in the world are affected by this disease and 30% to 50% of women with endometriosis end up being infertile.There is currently no cure for endometriosis and the only way to help is having surgery and even then this horrible disease can grow back.
