Kiwi Can is a values and life skills programme teaching kids the skills to be the best they can be. When I lived in the Waikato I used to do the Santa Run because I believe in the values they stand for and the work they do. Every week over 500 local kids are actively engaged in Kiwi Can lessons.
I intend to step out of my comfort zone, and out of a plane, in support of Kiwi Can in the region. I'm not keen on heights however I've also been accused of being an adrenaline junkie. That's because I'll give most things a go, like abseiling for Drop Your Boss last year. I did a sky dive 3 years ago at Motueka. Blame my kids for that. So am back now for a 2nd shot - this time to raise money for others and blood pressure for me. Please be generous. Thanks
Drop Your Boss Skydive - the proof... 9 November 2015
A stunning day in Motueka, beautiful blue skies, good banter and after the initial butterflies... lots of smiling faces!
Congratulations to all the Drop Your Boss Skydive participants - and a huge thanks to all those that contributed to their fundraising efforts. They did it in style!
Abel Tasman Skydive, you guys are amazing - such a great facility, smooth operation and a super-friendly team - made for an incredible day out.
Check out the video the Abel Tasman Skydive crew put together...
... I could be wrong, but I don't think those smiles are just the wind pushing in their cheeks!
Take in some serious altitude for a good cause – Drop Your Boss Skydive is here. Raising funds for Kiwi Can at the top of the south!
