I'm skydiving to raise funds so no child is left behind. Help kids get the chance in life they all deserve by donating to support them.
Bay of Plenty
At the Graeme Dingle Foundation they believe "what you have on the inside is greater than any obstacle you may face". In the spirit of that ethos, I am making the leap, 10,000 feet out of a plane, to help raise money towards the incredible work the foundation does here in our own community.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation Bay of Plenty runs Project K, Kiwi Can, and Stars; reaching over 3,700 young people in the local community. These are all proven and successful school-based programmes that aim to inspire young people to reach their full potential by helping to build their self-esteem, promote good values and teach valuable life, education and health skills.
We share the Historic Village with the Dingle foundation and have learnt so much about them and their work through our every-day interactions (they love the donuts!). The team are so positive and passionate and we want to support them in their vital work. As a mother of teenagers, I see their work as critical and deeply needed, and I recognise the importance of positive role-modeling as a huge part of the success of these programmes. I hope that by facing my fears and jumping, that I inspire my own children and "walk the walk" when it comes to displaying courage. When I was approached by Dan about Drop Your Boss my heart raced but I knew instantly that I absolutely wanted to do it. A tick off my bucket list and all for a great cause. Supporting the community and being a part of making it a better place for everybody is a huge part of our ethos at The Whipped Baker. We just love our community and the people in it, so this is just another opportunity to help in a different way. I am proud to be a part of it.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation is an incredible organisation, offering our young people some amazing opportunities to become the best version of themselves. I am jumping so I can demonstrate to our rangatahi that you can overcome any fear and achieve your goals with the right support and mind-set.
Help me support this critical work and donate to my skydive. Every bit helps!
We have a close working and personal relationship with the Graeme Dingle foundation. I am skydiving to raise money and help them continue making positive changes for the young people in our community.
Graeme Dingle Foundation BOP's Drop Your Boss event supports kids in Kiwi Can, Stars and Project K and helps transform young lives forever.
