It's as easy as chucking a teacher out of a plane to help raise funds for the Foundation for Youth Development!

Marlborough

The Foundation for Youth Development reaches over 17,000 school-aged Kiwis each year through Kiwi Can, Stars, Project K, Career Navigator and MYND. These programmes teach life skills that are not a part of the school curriculum, but help make the school environment more effective and harmonious. Their programmes also give students tools and techniques to use once they've exited school, along with self-belief and confidence to meet challenges head on.

The result is happier, healthier, more well-rounded youth. Which in turn means a brighter, more vibrant future for New Zealand.

Through extensive, ongoing research we know for a fact that FYD programmes;

Improve attitudes and behaviour

Improve academic results

Help young people set and achieve their goals

Boost self-confidence

Reduce truancy rates and at risk behaviours (eg substance abuse)

Help young people feel more positive about the future

And that's what we all want, right?
