Eastland Helicopter Rescue Trust.

Medical – includes attending a range of medical emergencies in the more remote areas of our region.

Farming – any on-farm accidents, typically this includes falls from horses and ATV accidents.

Forestry – generally these are fairly serious accidents in very remote locations.

Search and Rescue - supporting other agencies in search and rescue operations.

Sport and Rec – a range of leisure accidents such as tramping, rugby injuries etc.

Vehicle – attending serious motor vehicle accidents on our remote roading network.

Services provided includes primary response for accidents and critically ill patients, search and rescue and inter-hospital transfer throughout New Zealand. The Rescue Helicopter also supports police operations, the fire service and civil defence.
