On behalf of everyone in the EC English community, our thoughts are with the individuals, their families and communities impacted by this unprecedented act of violence and hatred in Christchurch New Zealand.

EC deeply values cultural and religious diversity, and it is in times like this that we should value the contribution we make in our schools, in bringing together students from different races and backgrounds and helping them better understand their respective ideas and beliefs.

This appalling act of violence will only bring us closer together and serve to further strengthen our respect and tolerance for people from all faiths, cultures and backgrounds.

EC English has a School in Auckland and many international students in Australia and New Zealand and would like to raise funds for the victims of the shooting. EC will match donations in line with their donation matching policy.
