Thank you very much for your generous gifts to assist the 154 children who currently attend ArkQuest Education Centre in Kenya. I am delighted to inform you that we raised $1269! I received a special recorded message from Calvine Ominde, who established the school and whom I met two years ago, to express his gratitude for your generosity and concern. Once again, thank you very much. You have made a big difference for the children and encouraged the staff in Kenya.

  • Goal Achieved

      17 October 2026

Finished the 8km in 31 minutes 33 seconds. Very pleased. Thankful to God for His help and no injuries. Very pleasant run although the wind did increase and made it a bit harder near the end.

Thank you very much for all your support. God bless you all.

There is less than ten days to go until the big day. Thank you to all of you who have supported me so generously. I am delighted to report that $751 has been raised so far!!

My training is going well and I managed 28 minutes 8 seconds running 7km a few days ago. I have set myself targets and will make a donation on the day depending on my finishing time for the 8km: Under 36 minutes (should be easy, even if it is windy) - $25, Under 34 minutes (should be comfortably achievable, maybe a challenge if windy) - $50, Under 32 minutes which is 15km/h (a challenge, but I believe it is achievable if there is not much wind) - $75. I was just 9 seconds short of this pace in my last run.

Once again, thank you so much for your donations and support. I greatly appreciate it! God bless you.
