Eli's assistance dog Taffy

  • What an amazing feeling....

      10 December 2017

We are now going to close this Givealittle page and before we do so we wanted to say a big thank you to everybody who got behind us by providing your money, your support and your messages. It's a great feeling knowing that we are never on our own in this journey. I know that Assistance Dogs NZ are so grateful also. The latest news is that Taffy has started attending school with Eli 3 days a week and after the holidays Taffy will be a 'full time student'. So another great milestone in our journey thanks to you x

  • We have reached our target thanks to you!

      15 November 2017

Thank you very very much from the bottom of our hearts (Simone, Eli, Sean & Taffy). You have just been so generous with your money and support over the past 12 weeks and we are blown away. Online we have received $17,207.00 which is amazing and also offline donations have been coming up and are currently getting added up by Assistance Dogs NZ. They have told us that with the combination of both we have exceeded the $20,000 goal. We will confirm the exact number with you once cheques are cashed and balances done. They have assured us that all this hard earned cash will go to the support of Taffy and anything over and over will go to another deserving person and their new Assistance Dog so you are helping us and others. We will close this account once we get a final figure to update you with. Again thank you very much. If you would like to see the effect that Taffy has had on Eli's life and on us all please check out our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=eli%20%26%20taffy%27s%20journey

    Forever grateful x

  • Thank You & Waikanae River Walk Change of Date

      15 September 2017

To each one of you thank you so very much for your very generous donations. Every cent is so much appreciated and we have been blown away by your support. To those of you that were planning on coming on our Waikanae River Walk this Sunday we have had to postpone due to the risk of rain. We have rescheduled this for Saturday 23rd September 2pm, same start point (off Greenaway Road). I hope this date also works for you x
