Emma's Cut for Cancer 2.0

$1,350 of $1,600 goal
Given by 27 generous donors in 5 weeks

Cutting my hair for donation and raising money for the Cancer Research Trust Foundation.

Nationwide

Since my haircut and donation in March 2018, my hair has grown back enough to donate for a second time. Again, I will be donating my hair to the only NZ wig company that accepts hair donations, Freedom Wigs in Dunedin. Because this company provides wigs for all of those in need, I want to raise a bit of money to go directly to the Cancer Research Trust.

The Trust provides grants to doctors and scientists conducting ground-breaking research in all cancer types, including the very rare adrenal cancer, that only occurs in about 1 in 1,000,000 New Zealanders per year, and has personally affected my family.

I would love to beat my 2018 fundraising goal but every little bit counts, thank you so much.

In 2019, my one in a million mum was diagnosed with her second cancer, adrenal cancer. I want to raise awareness of this rare cancer and hopefully help fund some research into understanding how to better diagnose and treat it.
