England to Mongolia in a 0.6l Smart Car
We're driving one of the smallest cars in the world over some of the wildest roads & countries for charity. 18,000kms in a 17 year old car.
NationwideHello curious friend/relative/reader/rally enthusiast!
It’s official. At roughly dawn on July 16th Rebecca and I will be setting off on a mammoth overland adventure to drive across a third of the planet, taking part in the legendary Mongol Rally.
With nothing but one and a half competent drivers, some blankets and a handful of muesli bars we’ll be taking on the 18,000kms from the UK to the elusive finish line in Ullan Ude. Anyone who knows Rebecca will know that her questionable driving skills, general bad luck and mishaper-y will make for some hilarious stories, headaches and challenges along the way.
As much as we need them, we’re asking for more than your thoughts and prayers to help us on our journey. As part of this valiant attempt to drive across 20 countries in a rusty 17 year old mini car we’re raising $10,000 for I am Hope to guarantee young people access to counsellors when they need it.
It's tough growing up and sometimes you can't talk to a parent or teacher so having professionals available is a brilliant idea that will help get our shocking suicide rate down.
This subject is very close to me as I've lost good friends and close family to suicide.I am also a recovering drug addict. I've been clean for 8 years and counselling really helped me with my journey from being a homeless bankrupt addict to where I am today.
Even if it's just a few bucks please donate to this cause.
Your donation may be the dollars that save a young kiwis life.

I'm a recovering meth addict with a history of mental health issues and I believe young people need access to the type of counselling that helped me turn my life around. I'm raising money for I am Hope so kids can access funding to talk to a professional in their times of need. Too many young people are dying from suicide. This has to change.
