Waipuna Hospice provides specialist medical services, nursing care and support to people living with an illness for which cure is no longer an option. We care for patients and their families living in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty.

As a group of regular Mount runners we have taken up the challenge to of Climbing Mauao 38 times in 50 days - the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest.
Collecting donations for Waipuna Hospice makes this challenge a great way to support the community as we grind our way to the top of Everest!
The Mount Everest Challenge begins February 9 and wraps up on March 30.

Great Start over the weekend 12 February 2018
Big weekend for the team - Total of 22 ascents since starting the challenge with most members doing a double up on Saturday or Sunday in the rain!!
