Help Support me to support Pūmanawa Papa Hou Preschool
This year, I am taking on the ultimate challenge! Running his very first full marathon in Queenstown! I'm pushing myself to the limits both physically and mentally, and in doing so will be supporting the preschool.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards creating meaningful learning opportunities for the children, not just for today, but for years to come.
About
Pūmanawa Papa Hou Preschool is part of The Kind Foundation; a charitable trust located in the heart of Christchurch CBD. Their preschool was built to support the children of Hospital and Police staff, and we remain unique in the way we adapt enrolments to suit the ever-changing needs of families working shifts.
They offer free yoga and dance classes, with their amazing Elevate instructors, and regularly use the Botanical Gardens, library, Art Centre, and surrounding city as rich learning spaces for the children. To provide this level of quality, they often employ up to three extra teachers per day – a choice that ensures the best for the children but also makes it difficult to break even each month.
Funds raised through my marathon effort will go towards a new mud kitchen for the preschool class – a hands-on, family play space where children can explore, create, and learn together.
