Fundraising for Myeloma NZ
Waikato
In 2022, my world came tumbling down when I received a life-changing diagnosis of multiple myeloma, bone marrow blood cancer. I knew I had a very hard journey ahead of me to fight this harder survive cancer, and it's been a very tough road.
Finally, I feel strong enough to head off and challenge myself to raise much-needed funds for the Multiple Myeloma Society of New Zealand.
OK, so I know you're thinking, what's she up to now? Well, here goes. I'm going to fly to Bhutan where I will do four hikes. The highest and toughest will be my climb to Tiger Nest Monastery.(3210m /10000feet high)above sea level.
This entire trip is self funded and all donations will go directly to MM Cancer Society of New Zealand.
September 2026-it's happening!
starting in Bhutan, I will undertake three hikes to acclimatize… before taking on the incredible hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
But I’m not stopping there.
Next stop will be China
Climbing Tieman Mountain — 4,982 ft and 999 steps… the Stairway to Heaven.
This isn’t just a trip.
It’s a challenge, a fight, and a fundraiser for the Multiple Myeloma Society.
Let’s do this 💛
