The mental health system is grossly underfunded. Let’s do our bit & raise money for a charity that could save a brothers life.
Canterbury
We're raising funds for a cause that needs our help now, more than ever. Men's Mental Health isn't often spoken about in New Zealand, the "she'll be right" attitude runs deep and as a result we're seeing some pretty stink men's mental health stats come through, and they're climbing each year.
We're lucky living in the 'Land of Plenty', but there isn't plenty of funding for our mental health support systems, in order to offer support and resources, particularly to the men in our lives.
How do we make a change?
Let's start by breaking the stigma of speaking up.
Encourage each other to ask for help.
And RAISE FUNDS for underfunded mental health support systems, that need funding in order to help our bro's out of a mental rut.
How are we raising funds?
'F45 Marshland Survivor' - think of being stuck on an island, where the key to survival is completing 8 grueling, back-to-back workouts. There will be 15 men battling throughout the day to complete all 8 F45 classes on Wednesday 4th of August, to raise money for their fellow ‘brothers’ by donating all proceeds to I Am Hope, under the Key To Life Charity.
This is where you come in, we need your help - any donations for the cause, big or small, makes a difference. Get creative, if you have a request for one of the lads to complete a challenge on the day, put your money where your mouth is and name your price.
Dig deep team, help us to support those who need a hand to get out of a dark place.
