  • FINAL WEEK

      28 July 2016

The Struggle is real! Final week of climbing and finding it more challenging now then when I first started. Possibly because I slacked off a little and only did 2 every now and then and am now making up for it by trying to do 3-4 a day! haha

Have been making a few trips up at night and loving the view. Had many friends jump on the band wagon and join me or go up themselves in support of this great cause! Super blessed to have such great support and kindness in this journey.

Photos and all will be loaded of all the ventures Ive had up Mauao (when I remembered to take them lol) and this definitely won't be my last time up I'm sure haha xx

  • DAY 3

      22 June 2016

On the third day of climbing the mount I decided to literally LOSE myself in the moment, go with the flow and have some fun.

Ventured up some old tracks that literally had me rock climbing at times, felt like I was on a movie haha. The breeze was nice, not too cold and the sun was beaming down. Not too many people were on the track that night.

This definitely if my happy place. As much as I have a love-hate relationship going up, reaching the top is always a blessing!

Big THANK YOU to those who have come up with me so far for a lap of the mount and a special thank you to all those who have donated so far. Share the love and lets help these kiwi kids have a fighting chance at life! x

  • DAY 2

      16 June 2016

Yesterdays back to back climb was challenging. Body getting used to going up all those stairs again and with a bit of pace.

Half way up on the second round my legs felt like jelly and I really had to push through those last set of stair climbs.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and was super blessed that it stayed that way the whole time I was climbing up and down the mount.Even got to catch up on some mediation and a little afternoon nap while on the top while I was at it.

  • DAY 1

      14 June 2016

Icy cold winds and a stunning view as we climbed to the top of Mauao. Such a stunning beautiful day to begin my challenge and I am so happy we made it to the top in time to watch the sun go down. Ataahua!
