Stepping into the boxing ring for the 1st time to raise money for our rescue chopper-please help me turn a big challenge into a great cause
Auckland
This year I’ve decided to take on a challenge that is completely outside my comfort zone: I’m training for my first boxing fight.
Over the coming months I’ll be learning how to box, sparring, and preparing to step into the ring on fight night. To put this into perspective, I’ve never even been punched in the face before, so this is about as far outside my comfort zone as I can get.
I’m taking on this challenge not only to test myself, but also to raise money for our rescue helicopter. While I’ll be putting in the hours of training and facing the nerves that come with fight night, the real winners will be the people and communities supported by this cause.
If you’ve enjoyed watching me do sensible things over the years, this is your chance to support me while I do something considerably less sensible.
Whether it’s the cost of a coffee, a donut, or a few dollars more, every donation helps and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support. I’ll be share updates throughout the training camp on socials, and hopefully on fight night you’ll get to see whether all this hard work pays off.
All funds raised will go directly to support our rescue helicopter
Thank you for helping me make a difference.
