Carrying on Gabby Devine's legacy of love and random acts of kindness for kids struggling with cancer
Otago
In her short life Gabby Devine, 13, touched many lives, carrying out more than 1000 random acts of kindness. Gabby Devine lost her battle to Ewings sarcoma, a rare bone cancer in 2015. During her time in both Starship Hospital and Taranaki Base Hospital she saw how hard it could be and established Starlit Hope so she could carry out random acts of kindness for kids in oncology.
Gabby Won a posthumous award at the 2015 Youth Awards at the Beehive. She is truly an inspiration. Its amazing what a 13 year old can do. Its amazing to be part of her legacy and be able to spread her kindness to all parts of New Zealand even as far south as Dunedin
I'm raising funds for my cousin Gabby's charity which she set up before she lost her battle with cancer in 2015. Gabby's legacy is spreading joy and random acts of kindness to kids struggling in hospitals all over New Zealand
