Canned food drives are passé! Charities are encouraged to support the local economy and rebuild in a more sustainable way. We understand that finances can be tight for students and families alike so we thought, why not dontate the cost of a can of food and allow the experts to put it to the best use possible? Jo and Gareth Morgan are currently supporting UNICEF with a $ for $ match on any funds donated to UNICEFs work in Vanuatu up to $1million. So every dollar we make helps two-fold in support of our Pacific neighbours. Whether your donation tastes run to the $1 can of baked beans or to more lavish donations... every little bit helps!
SPA Whitireia is supporting Promedical Vanuatu (the professional Vanuatu ambulance service) for 2015 but with limited access for supplies and this fabulous opportunity to double our money we couldn't resist supporting UNICEF as they ensure medical supplies, food and shelter are delivered to the people of Vanuatu.
The Whitireia branch of Student Paramedics Australasia are dedicated to four key goals in 2015 one of which is to support the efforts of Promedical Vanuatu (Vanuatu's professional ambulance service) through fundraising for vital lifesaving equipment
Promedical Vanuatu was already our charity of choice and the destruction and tragedy caused by Cyclone Pam has only made us more passionate to aid our Pacific neighbours this year. Through support of UNICEF we are able to double our contribution to the efforts in Vanuatu and we will be continuing to raise money for Promedical Vanuatu directly throughout the year.
