For the Angels of 5 North Ward - Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre

$3,171 donated

To raise funds for an essential service to many people. In particular those who require specialist inpatient care at 5 North Ward.

Wellington

This page is dedicated to the Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre, and in particular to all who work on 5 North Ward.

In our family we call them angels, because that's what they are. Cancer is tricky and it is mean, but if there's ever a place to find sanctuary, to be cared for physically and mentally it is 5 North Ward.

The work they do is beyond valuable. Whether it is saving lives, or making someone's last days as peaceful and pain free as possible, giving space and support to families so they can share their last moments together. The genuine respect and care is human, heartwarming and comforting.

We would like to raise funds for the ward in the hope that others can continue to receive the same level of care and support in the future.
