Racing an Ironman to raise money for Cranford HospiceπββοΈπ΄πΌββοΈππΌββοΈ

In August of 2024 I lost my beloved aunty to lung cancer who was the heart of our family, and played a massive role in all of our lives. It has been a tremendous loss to our family, leaving a space that no one can fill.
In order to honour her, I wanted to do something that would not only help me move forward with my grief but help out other people who are going through similar situations.
I have decided to take on the daunting challenge of completing a full ironman in Taupo on 1 March 2025. For those who don't know what that is, it consists of a 3.8km swim, 180 km bike and a 42.2 km.
All funds raised will go directly to Cranford Hospice. Around 50% of funding (about $4million every year) comes from fundraising. Annually they support around 696 people in their homes, 122 people in their inpatient unit and 759 people with counselling and bereavement support.
