Fundraiser for Recovered Living

Eating disorders are devastating and fatal illnesses and no one chooses to live like that, let alone have to deal with the financial burden there currently is to get fast and effective treatment in New Zealand. COVID lockdowns and the ongoing effects have created a 400% increase in people seeking help for eating disorders.

Although we can’t solve the issue overnight, I thought i’d channel my anger at the system into something somewhat productive and raise as much money as possible for a cause very very close to my heart.

Recovered Living is a new foundation opening in Christchurch which is based off models that have been proven to work overseas which use a community based approach to treating eating disorders. Slight issue is that it costs about $5,500 per week which is unaffordable for the vast majority of New Zealanders.
