Auckland Puppy Rescue do great work with helping and rehoming dogs all over Auckland. Your donations will help with desexing, vaccinating, housing, feeding, microchipping, deworming etc...
For an idea of what your money goes towards, here are some ballpark figures of APR's costs.
Housing a pup in a kennel when no foster homes are available costs ~$30 a day
Micro chipping a pup costs ~$40
Flea and wormers cost ~$50
Each vaccination costs ~$90 (and each pup needs 2 or 3, depending on age)
Desexing a male dog costs ~$290
Desexing a female dog costs ~$350
