We encourage kids to step out of their comfort zone daily, so we're leading by example & doing the same. Supporting our children's future.
Canterbury
Due to a recent injury since signing up, I have had to allocate a jumper in my place. Shane Simms will be jumping and his partner Amanda Hutcheson is assisting in the fundraising efforts.
I have been teaching the Kiwi Can programme in South Canterbury for just over a year. As a team of 2, we reach 6 SC schools and approximately 800-900 students aged 5 to 13.
What I love about the values Kiwi Can teaches and installs in our young ones, is that when I am out in the community, at sporting events and even the supermarket, I get to see these values being demonstrated - not because they know I'm there, but because they take on board what we teach and act it out in their daily living because they want to be the best they can be.
As a Kiwi Can leader in Timaru, I feel privileged to work with the organisation and know how much our tamariki need our support for a bright future.
I am an employee of the GDF educating children within my local community. Our programme, the schools we are in and the students will benefit directly from this funding.
Injury calls for replacement jumper 28 February 2019
Hi all.
Unfortunately due to a recent injury (I broke my back) the doctors said it's not a wise idea to jump out of a plane in my condition. I have a lovely gentleman by the name of Shane Simms who is going to be my designated Jumper. His partner Amanda Hutcheson is helping with the fundraising. Donations can still be made to this page as we are in the process of making it anpage for 'Gemma and Shane'. Thank you for your donations and understanding.

We're daring people to get outside of their comfort zone, just like our young people do through our programmes.
