The generous kiwi spirit has powered Givealittle for the last 10 years, and it is so wonderful to see some of this generosity channeled toward 10 worthy organisations in honour of our birthday.

How were the 10 charities selected for Give10?
Spark staff voted for the 10 charities they thought had the highest need around Christmas time and wanted to be included in this fundraiser. All of the charities are national except for the Auckland City Mission. This was included as there is no national mission for New Zealand.
How does the matching work?
Spark Foundation is donating $10,000 to this campaign through matching. Spark Foundation has pledged to match every $10 donated up to the value of $10,000 over all 10 charities. Spark Foundation’s contribution will be added to the Give10 fundraising pages on the final day of the campaign- December 10th and will be distributed to match the first $10,000 of donations received.

Does the 5% Service Fee apply to Give10?
Yes. As per Givealittle's standard terms the 5% service fee will apply to this campaign. There are many costs involved in running Givealittle which this fee contributes to, including credit card processing, web hosting, bank fees, staff costs etc.
