Volunteered at ParkRun, then walked the Town Basin, drumming up donations with cool drinks for koha, and knocked off the final kms on the Whangarei Falls Track today.
It was a busy week with other things going on, so to catch-up on some kms, walked to town after visiting mum. It was hot & sunny at the start but turned cold & rainy. Thankfully, I saw lots of friendly smiling faces and waves and the sound of toots & change jingling in my bucket to brighten the day.
A fun week, getting some kms in while marshalling at the Wild Kiwi, and doing " The Loop" in town.
The rusty old body found it a bit difficult getting going, but nothing beats a bit of help from friends! Thanks!! Off to a great start, 24kms done & $150 raised.And who knew this costume could double as a full body gaiter when pushing through gorse on a bush walk? 😂
